Since Jenny Reese Photography is brand new in Huntsville AL Wedding Industry, I thought it would be quite fun to embark on the journey of throwbacks to my favorite weddings of all times. The reason I chose George wedding to be the first one featured is quite simple. Their wedding gives me all the feels. It was gorgeous, elegant, stress free, and incredibly fun. I mean what else can you ask for?
During our initial consultation, I asked Ian and Michaela a question I ask all of my wedding couples: If they had to choose one word to describe their wedding, what would that word be? Without a doubt, Michaela said “Elegant”. And let me tell you, their wedding was quite possibly the most elegant wedding I have ever photographed.
The wedding details were stunning. The hues or purples and lavender made the wedding theme lively, yet calm. Touches of gold and wood kept it elegant, yet not over the top.
Ian and his groomsmen had a great time playing golf before the wedding ceremony and it showed!
One of my favorite parts of the day was definetely the “First touch”.
We followed the “First touch” with some Bridal Portraits. We opted to do them outside to avoid any of the guests seeing Michaela.
The ceremony took place outside and the weather was truly perfect. The wooden arch was handmade and engraved with Ian and Michaela’s wedding date. The florals added an incredible touch to the ceremony site. Ian’s reaction to seeing Michaela was incredibly emotional and there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience.
After the gorgeous ceremony, we proceeded with portraits. And it’s truly so hard to choose which ones to share! They turned out just beautiful!
After the portraits, it was time for the reception. It was fun and full of surprises! Michaela and her dad surprised the audience with a fun father/daughter dance and they lit up the dance floor!
The beautiful evening ended with my favorite exit: sparklers! What a fun and joy filled day!
